A guest sits down, spots a small card on the table, and scans the QR code with their phone camera. A branded feedback form opens in their browser. They type "food was cold, but the service was great" and hit submit. You get the message in your inbox within seconds — with a timestamp, their country, language, and browser. The whole interaction takes less than 30 seconds.

  1. Create your restaurant in AppTriage and generate a QR code. Pick the Dining preset, customize the heading, and your code is ready.
  2. Print the table card or A4 poster. Both include your branding, QR code, heading, and a short URL. Cut, fold, and place on tables.
  3. Guest scans, types feedback, taps submit. You get it in your inbox with country, language, and timestamp.

Placement ideas

Where to place your QR codes

The best placement is wherever guests naturally pause — waiting for food, paying the bill, or checking out. A small card or sticker is all you need. Print the table card or poster from your dashboard and place it where it catches the eye.

  • Tables The most natural placement. A small folded card next to the menu or salt shaker. Diners scan between courses or while waiting for the check.
  • Receipts Print your QR code and short URL on the bottom of receipts. Guests who might not notice a table card will see it when they pay.
  • Menus Add a small QR code to the last page of your printed menu, or to the footer of your digital menu. "Enjoyed your meal? Scan to tell us."
  • Counter or checkout A small poster or sticker at the counter for takeaway, fast-casual, or cafes. Customers scan while waiting for their order.
  • Hotel room A card on the bedside table or bathroom vanity. "How was your stay?" Guests scan and submit at their convenience — no front desk interaction.
  • Gym reception A poster at the exit or a card at the front desk. Members scan after their workout while the experience is fresh. Also works for spas, studios, and wellness centers.

Yes. Create a separate app for each location in your AppTriage account. Each location gets its own QR code, form, and inbox. The free plan includes 1 location. Pro includes 5, and Business includes 20.
What data is collected from guests?
Message text, star rating (optional field), email address (only if the guest fills it in), country, timezone, language, and browser. No IP addresses are stored. All submissions go to your AppTriage inbox. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. Every QR code comes with two print templates — an A4 poster for walls and stands, and a table card you can cut and fold. Both include your branding, QR code, heading, and subtext. Download as PDF and send to any printer.
