Website feedback widget that
takes one minute to install

A website feedback widget is a floating button that lets visitors share feedback without leaving the page. AppTriage gives you one with a single script tag — three button styles, your brand colors, and zero dependencies.

The problem

You're losing feedback because there's no easy way to submit it

Most websites bury their contact page two clicks deep. Users with quick feedback — a broken link, a confusing label, a feature idea — won't bother navigating there. They leave, and you never hear what they had to say.

Without a widget
User notices a bug on your pricing page
Looks for a "Contact" link — finds it in the footer
Opens a new page, fills in name, email, subject, message
Decides it's not worth the effort — closes the tab
You never hear about the bug
With AppTriage widget
User notices a bug on your pricing page
Clicks the floating feedback button — right there on the page
Types "pricing toggle is broken on mobile" — hits submit
You get the message, their browser, screen size, and the exact page URL

Installation

Copy. Paste. Done.

Add one script tag before your closing </body> tag. The widget loads asynchronously and won't block your page render.

<script src="https://apptriage.com/widget/your-form.js"></script>

That's the entire integration. No npm install. No config file. No build step. Works on any website that supports a <script> tag.

Customization

Three button styles,
your brand colors

The widget button sits in the corner of your page. Pick a style that matches your site's personality, set your brand color, and customize the popup form — heading, description, fields, and theme.

  • Pill, icon, or minimal button — your choice
  • Any hex color to match your brand
  • Optional star rating and email fields
  • Collects browser, OS, screen size, and page URL automatically
Share your thoughts
Pill

Icon

Common questions

Everything about the website feedback widget. Can't find an answer?

Get in touch
Is the website feedback widget really free?
Yes. The free plan includes 1 app, 100 feedback items per month, the popup widget, a branded feedback form, and email replies. No credit card required. No trial that expires. If you need more apps or higher volume, Pro starts at $19/month.
How do I install the widget on my website?
Yes, it's simple — one script tag. Add <script src="https://apptriage.com/widget/your-form.js"></script> before your closing </body> tag. The script loads asynchronously and won't slow down your page. No npm package, no build step, no configuration file. You get the embed code from your form settings in the AppTriage dashboard.
Can I customize the button style and color?
Yes. Choose from three button styles — pill (text + icon), icon-only (compact circle), or minimal (outlined text). Set any hex color to match your brand. You can also customize the popup form heading, description, and which fields to show. All configured in your dashboard — no code changes needed. See all three styles on the live demo.
What data does the widget collect?
No personal data is collected without user consent. The widget captures: message text, email address (only if the user fills it in), star rating (optional field), browser name and version, operating system, screen resolution, timezone, language, country, and the page URL where the form was submitted. We do not store IP addresses. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does it work with React, Next.js, and WordPress?
Yes. The widget is pure vanilla JavaScript with zero dependencies. It works on any website that can include a <script> tag — static HTML, WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Astro, Hugo, or any other framework. It injects its own isolated styles and won't conflict with your CSS. It's ideal for SaaS and web app teams who want continuous user feedback without building anything custom.
Where do widget submissions go?
Your AppTriage inbox, alongside App Store and Google Play reviews. Every widget submission appears as a feedback item you can filter, tag, triage, and reply to — all in one place. If the user shared their email, you can respond directly from the inbox. You can also set up notifications to get alerted on new submissions.
